Mibu Minami 南美布
1975年から84年にかけてニューヨーク州で暮す。 帰国後、上智大学で国際商業を学び、バイリンガル であることとバイカチュアルな環境を活かして1989年, 大学2年の時、DJコンテスト入賞をきっかけにラジオで のDJ活動をスタート。１９９４年から１０年間東京の FM局J-WAVEのナビゲーターとして数々番組を担当。その他CMナレーション、コラム、インタビュー、 イベント司会など幅広く活躍。英語に加えスペイン語を 身につけるため２００５年の春から一年間 スペイン・ マドリードへ留学。2006年4月よりJ-WAVEに復帰、DJ活動を再開。スペインを始めヨーロッパ中を旅し続けるうちにフォトグラフィーの興味が高まり写真の世界を楽しんでいる。
Having had an eclectic upbringing in New York and Tokyo, I acquired the ability to speak English and Japanese fluently. Confident in both languages, I applied my bi-lingual and bi-cultural skills to broadcast media in Tokyo. For the past twenty years, I have dedicated myself to building a career as a bi-lingual radio host, commercial voice talent as well as a producer/editor for various radio programs throughout Japan. For over a decade, I was one of the public faces of Tokyo’s major radio station J-Wave, hosting one of its highest rated daily time slots. I believe that the human experience can be shared so many ways, spoken word, written thoughts, visual media and interesting combinations of all the above. As the world's media profoundly reinvents itself, I continue to search for new challenges and opportunities for growth and expression. Since spring of 2005 I have taken a leap to Madrid Spain, studying Spanish and the culture. I've returned to Tokyo in April 2006 to once again, challenge Japanese and International media and adding photography as a new challenge..
